Product Listing and Product Detail Pages Update
Our product pages for issuance printers weren't helping users identify the printer best fit to their business needs. This leading to bounce and exit rates above 80%
Process
We combined competitor research, user research, and SEO analysis as a baseline for the redesign and rewriting of our product listing and detail pages for our instant ID issuance printers. We found that users had a hard time determining which machines we're the best fit for their use case and industry resulting in high exit and bounce numbers, and poor conversions.
Solution
In partnership with our copywriting team we prioritized and elevated content that indicated use case and industry for each product. In addition we standardized terminology and product categories on the listing page to further clarify sorting and filtering.
Results
The new layout removed extraneous and distracting sections and visuals resulting in a more visually pleasing and scannable page. Closely following the project's end, we updated the entire look and feel of the website in concert with a re-platforming project. The work from this project extended to what you see today.
